See the girl with the peace signs near the middle? She's an explosion of kindness, joy, light, and life! She came to our Joshua Tree event and just as life would have it, it was her BIRTHDAY! Yes, on the actual day!
After finding out her husband sent her an additional gift card to shop, we all cheered and she went to work picking from our curated group of sparkly wonders!
She selected three dynamic, jaw-dropping salt & pepper diamonds named Alessandra, Celestia, and Aria.

This project was as dynamic and peppered as the diamonds. After multiple possible orientations, we fell hard for this cluster concept. It somehow made three incredibly unique stories fit together while still celebrating their individual identities. I pictured sparkle all around and knew we'd work out the details later...
There was definitely cheering and hugging when we knew we had the design. Making art IN THE MOMENT with the MUSE right in front of you is WILD! 5% of my heart was terrified wondering what-the-heck am I doing, 95% was thrilled to take the leap and make each client who came something that never would have existed otherwise.
Taking a moment to use art to reroute our destiny and put it into a piece we can wear forever... It sounds dramatic but it happened! THIS is our why at TWOFIFTY!!! Be daring enough to see your limitless divinity and pursue it like there's no tomorrow.
Here's where it stalled... and I'm not even sure if SHE knows this part! I wanted to explore patterns around the diamonds. Every attempt was excruciating to look at. I spent hours concepting pave and milgrain intricate outlines and fades only to barf every time the CAD came back. Once I was willing to put my own desires and ego aside, the diamonds made it clear. THEY are the drama. They are the art.
So we filled the shape in with an ocean of pave. It was brilliant and beautiful. You have to know when to pull back. You have to know when to stop overthinking!
I mean LOOK AT HER!!! This is easily one of my fav pieces ever.

Thank you Melanie, this is you in the world in case you didn't know. You are so gorgeous in every cell of your heart and freaking face that it blinds us all!
Ok now I'm crying. I know this should be written more eloquently or even professional. The truth is, we are complicated, hilarious, down-to-earth, spicy, and weird sometimes. That is the peppering in the diamond. That IS what makes you beautiful!
