A wild journey that influenced me artistically for life started with Sharon.
She came in hard buying stones. Her energy radiated light and positivity. The stones? Rare, stunning, and each seemed to have a story.
With a stunning collection growing, Sharon bought a surprise stone ticket experience. On an undeniable hunch, I went out on a limb and got her 3 pearls. After teasing the pearls on IG stories, she messaged how sad she was. Sad that she hadn't guided me to get her pearls yet still reassured me she would love whatever I chose. Full goosebumps head to toe I responded to her SHARON, I GOT THEM FOR YOU! We both cheered.
The anticipation grew; her design appointment was still months away.

She didn't want to inhibit my artistic inspiration and went for it with CARTE BLANCHE design. That's the sky-diving level of jewelry design. My personal favorite!
With the world as our oyster, I went to it. The entire project started to morph into its own story. I started seeing waves, and ocean monsters. Gathered treasure, mermaids, and glistening sand took center stage and I became a passenger.
When designing mockups, I see an entire movie playing in my mind. I get sucked in and forget the real world. All that matters is her and all I am helplessly taken somewhere and in awe of her. After my best attempts to make all of this a visual, I video Sharon with images and my description. With her permission, I am happy to share with you her exact design pitch!
Her response?
"Sarah, I am speechless - but you know me - I am going to somehow try to find the words to tell you how absolutely remarkable you are and how stunning this is."

Months later, after receiving the pieces, she sent this.
"I need to tell you how precious the collection you created for me is. There's so much meaning in each piece. So much we never discussed that you somehow captured. Every single piece is ME. More than that, it is my history, part of my story.
Every year my dad would gift my mother a piece of jewelry at Christmas. Never diamonds or anything like that. Always a beautiful and unique stone, crafted into a stunning piece. Agate, coral, turquoise, hematite, something unusual that became a one-of-a-kind gift.
Some of the stones I collected that you used called back to that for me. Seeing the gem silica Giza necklace, the dioptase Fyre necklace, I had to just smile. They are definitely soooooo me - as every piece you've created for me magically is. But I realized they are also pieces my dad would have been so proud to gift on one of those Christmases.
I am so proud to wear them now and know when the time comes for me to pass them down, all your passion and all that history will go with them."

These pieces are all hers, at home with her and her family forever. Each one stopping traffic, meeting strangers, and telling stories. Her collection continues to inspire women as even today a client brought photos of her project as inspiration for her own collection.
Sharon is a muse I will never forget. Why? Because she already started gathering stones for the sequel...
